From sheet metal workshop to an international public company

Lindab was founded in 1959 by Lage Lindh and Valter Persson and has since then had its roots in Grevie on the Bjäre Peninsula in the southern part of Sweden. Today, Lindab's share is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.

We at Lindab want to create a better indoor climate. We also want to contribute to a better climate for our planet. Lindab's sustainability plan focuses on three areas: create healthy buildings, reduce the environmental impact from customers and drive a sustainable business.

Lindab manufactures and sells products and solutions for ventilation systems in Europe. In a number of markets, we also offer building products in areas such as roofs, walls and rainwater systems. We can also offer complete industry halls in steel.

Good indoor air is key to better health

Good air quality is key for our health and well-being. Since we spend most of our time indoors, we at Lindab have made it our most important task to develop solutions for a healthy indoor climate in all kinds of environments.

Business areas

Lindab’s product and system solutions are offered out of two business areas. Ventilation Systems and Profile Systems share certain resources in purchasing and logistics, offering their products via a shared network of stores in Sweden and Norway.

Until the end of 2021, Building Systems was also a business area within Lindab. On 23 September 2021, Lindab announced the divestment of Building Systems. Read press release >>

Steel - the world's most recycled material

Steel is the most recycled material in the world. 75 percent of the steel products manufactured are still in use. Unlike other materials, it can be completely recycled. The long service life, the high quality and its circular properties have made it the material that Lindab uses in most of our products.
