Lindab supplies ventilation system worth around SEK 12 million for Audi's production facility in Hungary

Lindab has received an order worth approximately SEK 12 m to deliver the ventilation system for the extension of Audi's car production plant in Györ in north-west Hungary. The order includes Lindab's circular ducts and fittings and will be delivered to a tight time schedule between now and March 2012.

Lindab's President and CEO, David Brodetsky, commented:
"The Hungarian economy has suffered greatly since the downturn. The fact that Audi is making a EUR 900 million investment and will create 1,800 new jobs sends a positive signal."

David Brodetsky continues:
"We are very pleased to be involved in this exciting project that includes strict demands for both product performance and logistics. Our Czech, German and Hungarian business units will collaborate in this project and this underlines one of the advantages of Lindab's extensive European operations to support major cross-border projects."
